Define:-
Cell-
In biology, the smallest unit that can live on its own and that makes up all living organisms and the tissues of the body. A cell has three main parts: the cell membrane, the nucleus, and the cytoplasm. The nucleus is a structure inside the cell that contains the nucleolus and most of the cell's DNA.
Active cell-
Electrically active cells such as neural cells or muscle cells generate small currents in short spikes, which are called action potentials. These currents are actually due to ions (Na+, K+) moving across the cell membrane through protein channels.

cell :- the smallest unit that can live on its own and that makes up all living organisms and the tissues of the body. A cell has three main parts: the cell membrane, the nucleus, and the cytoplasm. The cell membrane surrounds the cell and controls the substances that go into and out of the cell.
active cell :- Alternatively referred to as a cell pointer, current cell, or selected cell, an active cell is a rectangular box that highlights the cell in a spreadsheet. An active cell helps identify what cell is being worked with and where data will be entered.
