▪Time period of a conical pendulum is defined as the time taken by the pendulum to complete one ascillation.
#In balancing condition:-
T cosθ = mg−−−(1).and T sinθ = mv2r−−−(2).Dividing eqn (2) by eqn (1),
we get,tanθ = v2rg = 4π2r2T2rg = 4π2rT2g.T = 2πrg tanθ−−−−−√, but from the diagram r = l sinθ,
#where l is the length of the pendulum:-#
T = 2πl sinθg tanθ√ or T = 2πl cosθg−−−−√.
Where T is time period.
