Inter molecular forces are the one which arises due to interaction of one molecule with another belonging to the same compound, whereas Intra molecular forces are the ones that takes place between the atoms if the similar molecule of any compound.

Usually inter molecular forces are stronger than intra molecular forces and thus, these compounds have generally high melting or boiling point.
