Momentum is nothing but a vector quantity.

It is the measurement of a mass moving at a particular velocity.

The unit that describes this is  kilogram metre per second or in other way it will be gram cm per sec.

Some of the examples are: throwing a heavy mall while bowling the bottles, playing baseball, and even billiards.
