➡The Resources that cannot be renewed over a period of time by any physical , chemical or biological process are Called Non - Renewable sources of Energy . These sources basically include the Conventional Sources .

➡Examples are Coal , Petroleum and Natural Gas .

✳Potential Resources =>

➡These include the Natural Resources that have the Potential for great development but due to the lack of certain facilities or technologies , there use is limited .

➡Example => The areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat has a great potential for the Development of Wind energy .

a) these are resources which occurr over a very long geological time. some can be recycled where a few Cannot and thus get exhausted by their use. eg. minerals, fossil fuels are examples for such resources.

b) resources which are found in a region, but have not been utilised are known as potential resources.
