RIVER SYSTEM--
A river along with its tributaries is called a river system.

Characteristics of Indus river --
1) River Indus originates in Tibet, near lake mansarowar and flows west and enters India in Ladakh district of Jammu and Kashmir.
2) Its is 2,900km long being the longest river of the world.
