• His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was also called Bapu, who gave freedom to the country on the strength of non-violence movement.

• He studied in London and received a barrister's degree. But he was unsuccessful in the first debate in the Bombay and he continued his livelihood by doing writing work.
