Define acceleration and state its si unit for motion along a straight line when do we consider the acceleration to be positive or negative give an example of the body in a uniform acceleration

acceleration is nothing but rate of change of velocity. which is equal to (v/t).
it's si unit is (m/s^2) metre per second square.
For acc. to be positive both disp. should be positive and velocity should be increasing with time.
body in uniform acc. a car going with acc of 5 metre per second square.
