acceleration due to gravity :- earth attract all body towards the centre . for this attraction force devolep between earth and body . due to force , acceleration develop in a body . earth attract the body towards centre with a acceleration is known as acceleration due to gravity..

it is denoted by g . si unit of g is m/s²
formula ,for finding g is
g = GM/( 1 + h/R)²
where G is gravitational constant
M is mass of earth
r is the radius of earth
h is the height of body from the earth surface .
