change in velocity is called accerelation..

means change in direction or change in magnitude or change in both direction and magnitude results the accerelation..

accerelation = change in velocity/ time

=v-u/t

the rate at which a particle covers a distance along a given path is called speed

speed = distance/ time

the rate of change of displacement is called velocity

velocity = displacement/time

an object is said to be in motion if it changes it position with respect to the surroundings in a given time is called motion
