Accountable- Some who is responsible for an action, or effect of the action.

The British should be held accountable for the heavy deindustrialization of India in 18th century.


Responsive- Someone or something thad responds.

The device is very responsive in detecting earthquakes.


Legitimate- Something that is legal, done according to rules, not illegal or unexplainable.

His thoughts of avenging his mother's death is legitimate.


Transparency- Something with has the characteristics to make seeing through possible.
A characteristics of a process which is free of corruption.

Accountable: an accountable government is answerable to its citizens. It is responsible for all the decisions it takes on behalf of its citizens.

Legitimate: a legitimate government should be a lawful government where all the laws of the land are applicable to all its citizens. People should be governed without fear or favour.
OR
Legally chosen government is called legitimate government.

Responsive: the government in which people have the right to know the process of decision making.

Transparency: to examine the process of decision making in a democracy.
