ACCURACY AND
PRECISION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Accuracy means how close the measured value is to the true value or physical value.
- Precision means how much resolved in the measurement.
- Lesser is the least count of the measuring device more of the precision.
now suppose weight of a box is 963 gm. Three Students A B and C records the weight as
A--->955gm
B--->963.2gm
C--->950.203gm
B is more accurate and C is more precise as the value of B is closest value to the true value and the value of C is in most significant figure so it is more precise.
