Define adult haemoglobin and fetal haemoglobin.​

  • Rapid dissociation of oxygen takes place as oxygen concentration decreases.

  • Oxygen that is released in the tissues where it is needed.

Some points on fetal haemoglobin are as follows:-

  • This type of haemoglobin has more affinity than that of adult haemoglobin.

  • In the left of adult haemoglobin it is to be curved.

  • From fetal haemoglobin xygen moves comes in the adult haemoglobin.
