AEROBIC RESPIRATION:

▪It is the respiration in then presence of oxygen happens in the Mitochondria which takes more time but releases a lot more energy...

ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION:

▪Without oxygen, the glucose molecule is broken down by the enzymes zymase to yield energy, ethanol and carbondioxide.

▪Energy obtained here is far lesser than in case of Aerobic respiration.

▪For example,Yeast which is an eukaryotic organism which can respire Anaerobically.

▪This is also known as Fermentation.
