Myopia is a eye defect in which a person is unable to see far off objects clearly that means that the far point of the eye of the person is not infinity but less than that. A concave lens is used to correct this defect. In this defect the image forms before the retina. it can be caused due to the elongation of the eyeball or thickening of the eye lens.
