1.Simple Present or Present Indefinite:

It is used to express the actions of present and habitual or repeated actions.

2.Present Continuous:

It is used to express the continuity of an action which is going on at the present moment.

3.Present Perfect:

It is used to describe an action just completed.

4.Present Perfect Continuous:

It is used for an action which began in the past and is still continuing.

5.Simple Past or Past Indefinite:

It is used to express an action which took place in the past and is completed by the time of speaking.

6.Past Continuous:

It is used to describe the progress of an action at some time in the past.

7.Past Perfect:

It is used to describe an action that has taken place before another action in the past.

8.Past Perfect Continuous:

It is used to denote an action which had been going on at , or before some point of time in the past.

9.Simple Future or Future Indefinite:

It is used to describe an action in the near future.

10.Future Continuous:

It is used to express an action that will be going on at some time in the future.

11.Future Perfect:

It is used to denote the completion of an action at some point of time in the future.

12.Future Perfect Continuous:

It is used to denote that an action will have been going on for sometime in the future.
