Hello friend! I am glad to help you, here is the answer.

There are five types of chemical reactions :

1. Combination or Synthesis Reaction: Two or more simple substances combine to form a product which is more complex than the substances is called Combination or Synthesis Reaction.
____________________________
2. Decomposition Reaction: A reaction where a single compound breaks into two or more elements are called Decomposition Reactions.
____________________________
3. Displacement Reaction: When an element reacts with a compound and takes the place of another element in that compound then this type of reaction is called Displacement Reaction.
____________________________
4. Acid Base Reaction: When an acid reacts with an alkali salt the product is a metal salt and water, this type of reaction is Acid Base Reaction.
____________________________
5. Combustion Reaction: When a hydrocarbon reacts with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water then the Combustion Reaction takes place.

Hope it helps you.

There are total 9 types of the chemical reactions.
They are named as follows :-

1. Combination reaction

When 2 or more reactants combine in a reaction to form a single product, it is called as Combination reaction.

Example
2Mg + O2 ==> 2MgO

2. Decomposition reaction

The chemical reactions in which two or more products are formed from a single reactant is called a decomposition reaction.

Example
CaCO3 ==> CaO + CO2

3. Displacement reaction

The reaction in which the place of ion of a less reactive element in a compound is taken by another more reactive element by formation of its own Ion is called a displacement reaction.

Example
CuSO4 + Zn ==> ZnSO4 + Cu

4. Double Displacement reaction

The reactions in which the ion in the reactants are exchanged to form a precipitate are called double displacement reactions .

Example
AgNO3 + NaCl ==> AgCl + NaNO3

5. Endothermic Reaction

The chemical reactions which are accompanied by absorption of heat are called endothermic reactions.

Example
CaCO3 + Heat ==> CaO + CO2

6. Exothermic reaction

The chemical reactions which are accompanied by evolution of heat are called Exothermic reaction.

Example
CaO + H2O ==> Ca(OH)2 + Heat

7. Reduction Reaction

The chemical reaction in which hydrogen is gained and oxygen is losed is called as Reduction Reaction.

Example
C + 2H2 ==> CH4

8. Oxidation Reaction

The chemical reaction in which a reactant combines with oxygen or loses hydrogen is called as Oxidation Reaction.

Example
MgH2 ==> Mg + H2

9. Redox Reaction

The chemical reaction in which both reduction and oxidation reaction takes place simultaneously is called Redox Reaction.

Example
CuO + H2 ==> Cu + H2O

These are the types of reaction.

Thanks!
