=>open system is defined as a a system which can exchange both matter and energy with its surroundings is called open system.
example:- hot water in a vessel
=>isolated system is defined as a system which can exchange neither energy not matter with its surrounding is called an isolated system example:- hot coffee kept in a thermo flask.
