Antigens are foreign organisms like bacteria,virus. They harm the human body from inside For defense human body from those antigens our body makes antibody....which fights with the antigens...... and protects the human body

Any foreign substance invading body and capable of stimulating an immune response is called an antigen. The protective chemicals produced by immune cells in response to antigen are called antibodies. Differences: Anitigens -not formed in body - made up of protein or carbohydrate - reponsible for disease Antibodies -formed inside body -proteinous in nature -for prevention of disease
