An irrigation well is very similar to a well drilled to provide water to a home, except the water is hooked up to a sprinkler system or faucet for use outside the home.

Well Irrigation:
- Well Irrigation defined as any well constructed for the purpose of obtaining ground water to supply irrigation water for agriculture, silviculture, golf courses, fish farms, and land beautification.
- But household use of water is excluded i.e. single-family irrigation of lawns or gardens.
- There are two types of well Irrigation - High flow and Low flow.
- Low flow systems can used to micro spray, drip emitters, or drip lines... etc
- High flow systems are used for fixed spray, rotor, impact, bubbler, and soaker hose...etc.
- Well Irrigation should be sufficient quantity of ground water because a tube well can generally irrigate
- The water level should be nearly 15 metres for well Irrigation.
