hiii friend....
1) Homogeneous mixture :-any combination of substances that has uniform composition and properties; a mixture that is uniform throughout.

2) Heterogeneous mixture :- any combination of substances that does not have uniform composition andproperties; a mixture of physically distinct substances with different properties
_______________________________________________________________
3) True solution :-
True Solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances in which substance dissolved (solute) in solvent has the particle size of less than 10-9 m or 1 nm.
_______________________________________________________________
4) Suspension :-
Suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which particle size of one or more components is greater than 1000nm.
_______________________________________________________________
5) Colloidal solution :-
Colloidal Solution is a heterogeneous mixture in which particle size of substance is intermediate of true solution and suspension i.e. between 1-1000 nm.

draashish2003malik: you didn't write characteristics so plzzz write it..............
Anonymous: okkkk
draashish2003malik: so plzzz write
Anonymous: yaa i will
Anonymous: m not getting edit option
draashish2003malik: why try again and write characteristic plzzz

Homogenous mixture - Mixture which have the uniform composition throughout the taken sample and in which you can't observe any visible boundary of seperation between its constituents is known as homogenous mixture.

For example- Sugar solution in water

Heterogenous Mixture- Mixture which have different phases throughout the taken sample and in these type of solutions mixture has clearly visible boundaries of seperation between its constituents.

For example- Sand in water, etc.

Suspension- Materials of smaller particle size, insoluble in a solvent but visible to naked eyes, give suspension. A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which the solute particles remain suspended throughout the bulk of medium.

Colloidal Suspension- The colloidal state is despered state of matter in which the size of dispersed particles lie in the range of 1nm-100nm. These particles, called dispersing phase are distributed throughout a solvent like medium called dispersing medium. Colloid particles cannot be seen by naked eyes. Colloids are classified according to state of dispersing medium and the state of dispersed phase.

If you want to write only definition of Colloidal suspension then write only first line ( up to 100nm ) and if you want to describe it then write whole concept which is writen above.

Characteristics of true solution:
1- particle size is less then 1nm.
2- Particles are invisible.
3- It is a homogeneous mixture in nature.
4- Appearance is transparent.
5- Particles do no settle.
6- Light do not scatter on true solution.

Characteristics of Colloidal Solution:

1- Particle size is between 1-100nm.
2- This is heterogeneous mixture in nature.
3- Appearance is generally transparent but may show translucent.
4- Particles do no settle.
5- Light can be scatter.

Characteristics of Suspension:

1- Particle size is more than 100nm.
2- Visible to naked eyes.
3- It is heterogeneous in nature.
4- Appearance is opaque.
5- Particles settle on standing.
6- Light can be scatter.

draashish2003malik: okkkk
princessangel: I have characteristics of true solution , colloidal solution and suspension... Do you want that???
Anonymous: he wants of every....
princessangel: But i have only these....
Anonymous: then give him that much only.....
princessangel: Now you can get characteristics from my answer just take a look
draashish2003malik: okkk thnx a lot
