Antaacids are substances or a class of medicines which neutralizes the acid released by the stomach and provides relief in case of stomach acidity.
Eg: ranitidine, cimetidine etc

Antacids are the chemical substances which removes the excess acid in the stomach and raise the pH to appropriate level.

Example :- Sodium hydrogencarbonate , ranitidine , a mixture of aluminium and magnesium hydroxide.
