The numbers which can be expressed in the form of p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equals to zero are called rational numbers.

Ex:--

  •  \frac{2}{3}

  • 0

  • 2/3 is a rational number 2 and 3 are integers and three is not equals to zero.(denominator).
  • O is a rational number as zero can be written as 0/1,where 0 and 1 are integers.
