athropods means animals with jointed legs .

features of athropods -

they are largest group of animals .
they are bilaterally symmetrical and segmented.
they have open circulatory system and so the blood does not flow in well defined manner.
the coelomic cavity is blood filled .
examples of athropods are prawns , spiders , scorpions , house flies , crabs , butterflies , etc .
