Asteroids :-

An asteroid are actually minor planet which can neither be classified either as a planet or as a comet.

Example :-

• Ceres
• Pluto
• Eris
• Haumea

Meteoroids :-

A small body moving in the solar system that would become a meteor if it enters in earths atmosphere.

• Size of meteoroid about 10 metre.
• Three types of meteoroid :-

1. Iron
2. Stony iron
3. Stony

• Meteoroids are found in kuiper belt.
