ATOMIC MASS:
Mass of an atom of an element which is expressed in atomic mass units. It is the approximate sum of no. of protons and neutrons.
MOLECULAR MASS:
It is the mass of molecule. It is usually obtained relative to the mass of isotope carbon 12.
VALENCY:
It is the combining capacity. The no. of electrons gained, lost or shared by the atom of an element so as to attain stability.
MOLE CONCEPT:
A mole is defined as the quantity of substance which contains the same number of elementary particles or chemical units as the number of atoms present in 12 grams of C-12 isotope.
ATOMICITY:
The number of atoms in the molecule of an element.
