Photoautotrophs prepare their own food with the help of Chlorophyll , by using carbondioxide and water and in the presence of sunlight. Example :- Green plants.

Chemoautotrphs prepare their food with the help of some chemicals. Example :- Certain Blue Green algae and some fungi.
