Average speed =total distance /total time

=10+5/5+10=15/15=1m/s

The total distance travelled by a body in a definite interval of time is known as average speed.

mathematically avg. speed = (total distance/total time).

Average Speed = ( 10 + 5) ÷ (5+10)

= 1m/s

haroonadopawansa: 10m/s and 5m/s is speed not a distance
