Define average velocity and instantaneous velocity. When are they same ?

average velocity= total displacement/total time. AVG. velocity is always determined for an interval of time.for eg. from 2seconds to 4 seconds.

instantaneous velocity is velocity at particular instant of time. i.e velocity at time t=2 second

both will be equal when body will move with constant velocity or zero accele
