These are unicellular prokaryotic microorganisms which are useful for animals while some can be harmful. Bacteria are based on the basis of respiration, on the basis of nutrition, on the basis of composition of cell and on the basis of shape.
Examples:-
On the basis of shape- Vibrio Cholerae
On the basis of composition of cell- Gram positive bacteria or gram negative bacteria
On the basis of nutrition- Cyanobacteria
On the basis of respiration- Mycobacterium and etc.
