Those properties that can be observed without any changes in the composition or identity of a substance are called physical properties of that substance.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For example - Color, odor, density, boiling point, melting point , etc of any substance.

-------------------

Chemical change means the changes which we can't reverse. For example. Cooking of food.

thanks!

Answer:

  • When physical changes take place, there are no permanent changes to the chemical structure of the object, the shape or size of the object may change and the constitution of the object in chemical terms remains the same i.e. there will be no reduction in the amount of molecules present within the object itself
  • When chemical changes take place, there are permanent changes to the chemical structure of the object, the shape and size change and the constitution of the object in chemical terms is impacted.
