Biodegradable are material which can get decomposed naturally by decomposition of bacteria

Example if u through a peel in a pit and close it after a week it would disappear because it may be decomposed by bacterias

but if u do the same process with plastic even after a year the plastic will remain there this makes the material non biodegradable
