Blood is a fluid which circulates throughout the body.

➡️It is red colour in human bodies.

➡️Its main function is to carry necessary nutrients and oxygen from one part to another part of the body.

➡️It also carry some waste material from the body.

➡️In vertebrates, it is composed of blood cells suspended in blood plasma.

➡️It has four components -

1. Plasma

2. Red blood cells

3. White blood cells

4. Platelets
