C.F.C stands for Chloro Fluoro Carbon. When chlorine and fluorine on combination with carbon atom form a compound, then such a compound is called chloro fluoro carbon (CFC). They are used in the manufacture of aerosol sprays, blowing agents for foams and packing materials, as solvents, and as refrigerants.
