Heya !
=> All living things on earth are made up of cells. A cell is the basic building block of life.
@ Cell
A cell is capable of performing basic functions like respiration, digestion , excretion , reproduction , locomotion , growth , etc. to live. All living things are classified into two categories as plants or animals. All animals and plants are different from each other although they all are made up of cells.
@ The most common elements in a cell are:
Hydrogen (H) 59%
Oxygen (O) 24%
Carbon (C) 11%
Nitrogen (N) 4%
Others such as phosphorus (P) and sulphur (S) 2% combined
But these are not the only elements that have important roles for living things! Plants and animals need a variety of elements to survive and grow.
Hope it helps !!!
