center of mass is the point where u can balance which is we can consider all the mass of the body concentrated at a single point and always ignoring the path of whole body we can consider the path of the center of mass 

the formula foe two point body system is m1x1+m2x2/m1+m2(its in x direction and same implies on y axis)

the coordinates can be taken as vectors
