Centripetal acceleration is the idea that any object moving in a circle, in something called circular motion, will have an acceleration vector pointed towards the center of that circle. It is a vector because it does have a direction. For example, 3 miles per hour is a speed, but 3 miles per hour south is a velocity.

we know that a force which move the planets is called centripetal force during this in planet acceleration is produced so we say that here centripetal acceleration is produced
