Charge is an intrinsic property which tells about the nature of force between two substances and the nature will either be attractive or repulsive .

Charge is basically of two types –

• Positive charge
• Negative charge

Positive charge means, if any substance has deficiency of electrons then that is called positively charged .

Negative charge means if any substance has excessive of electrons then that called negatively charged .

An electric charge is the property of matter where it has more or fewer electrons than protons in its atoms. Matter is positively charged if it contains more protons than electrons, and negatively charged if it contains more electrons than protons.

There are two types of charge :-

• Positive charge

• Negative charge
