hola!

circumference is the distance around a circle

the formula is

2*22/7*radius

radius is the a straight line from the centre to the circumference of a circle or sphere.

Answer -

Circumference of a Circle -

The outer boundary of a circle or the perimeter of the circle is known as circumference of circle.

To find the circumference of a circle, we have to move 2 times 22/7 or 3.14 times radius of the circle.

In other words,

circumference of circle = 2 × 22/7 × radius

[ ∵ pi = 22/7 or 3.14 (approx.) ]

Radius of a Circle -

When we take a straight line passing through the centre of the circle, this line which touches the two edges and the centre of the circle is called it's diameter.

When we divide the diameter into two equal parts, we get the two radii (plural form of radius) of the circle.

So, we can say that radius of a circle means the straight line which connects the centre of circle with one of it's edge.

When only the diameter is given, we can divide the diamter into 2-equal parts to find it's radius

[∴ radius = diameter / 2]
