Class System :

It means of dividing people on the basis of different categories to different classes .

Characteristics :

It's characteristics are that it helps others to know about the people about to whom he or she wants to know.

It's demerits :

It is having a great demerit that is in this people consider themselves as different from others.

Class System : It is a social system in which the status of an individual is determined by the family in which he / she is borned . The members of a class has some responsibilities, rights and powers. Class consciousness is the necessity of the class. Person in a class considers other as a superior or inferior to him. People in this system keep close relations with members of their own class.

Characteristics of class system :

• Feeling of superiority and inferiority : Relatíons exist in class system. for example people of higher class think themselves as different and superior to lower class. Rich people falls in higher class and poor under lower.
• Social Mobility : Class system is not definite for any person . It keeps on changing .Man can achieve higher status with hard work and can go to lower status by wrong deeds.
• Openness : Openness exist in class system because in this every person is free to do anything . He is free to adopt any occupation. Anyóne can become member of any class on the basis of his ability.
• Limited social relations : social relations of a person are limited in class system. person of every class establish relations with people with their own class. They socialize among themselves.
• Development of sub classes : we can devide class system into three parts from economic point of view and these are 1. Upper class 2. middle class 3. lower class.
• Different Bases : According to karl marx main base of class system is economic bases. There are two classes in society. One is capitalist and other is labour class.

In this way we can say there is not a single base of class system but there are many bases of class system.
