A clause is a group of words containing a subject and verb.

There are two types of clauses.

1) INDEPENDENT CLAUSE have complete a meaning or thought.
Ex: She a good chess player.

2) DEPENDENT CLAUSE Don't have a complete meaning it thought.
Ex : When it is raining..
