For example, the positive integers are closed under addition, but not under subtraction: is not a positive integer even though both 1 and 2 are positive integers.

System of whole numbers is closed under multiplication, this means that the product of any two whole numbers is always a whole number. This is known as Closure Property for Multiplication of Whole Numbers. Read the following example and you can further understand this property.
