Thermal conductivity can be defined as the rate at which heat is transferred by conduction through a unit cross-section area of a material, when a temperature gradient exits perpendicular to the area.

Hii dear,

◆ Coefficient of thermal conductivity-
- It's the quantity of heat passing in a unit of time through a unit thickness of a substance when the difference in temperature is 1°C.
- It's material specific and highest for diamond.

◆ Temperature gradient-
- The rate of change of temperature with displacement in a given direction from a given reference point.
- It mainly concerns displacement as height/altitude.

Hope this is helpful..
