Hey friend here is your answer.....

Answer :-

Concave Mirror :

❀ Concave mirror makes the light meet at a point after reflection ( converges )

❀ When the object is placed very close to the concave mirror, and erect and enlarged visual image is formed inside the mirror .

❀ Example :

1. Used as reflectors in car headlamps , torches , searchlights and telescopes .

2. Used by dentists and ENT doctors to focus light on parts to be examined .

3. Used in solar cookers to convert the sunlight on the food to be cooked .

4. Concave mirrors are used as ' shaving Mirrors ' or ' compact mirrors ' because they produce a magnified image when held close to the face .

Convex Mirror :

❀ Convex mirror diverges the light .

❀ Convex mirror form only virtual images that are diminished in size

❀ The image formed by a convex mirror is always virtual, erect and smaller than the object . Convex mirrors are used as rear-view mirror in vehicles . They are more helpful than plain mirrors in this case because they form smaller images, and hence , give a wider view .

❀ Examples :

1. Used as rear-view mirrors in automobiles since its field of view is wide .

2. Used to watch over a large area .
