Define conductors semiconductors and insulators

Conductors :

Any substance which allows electricity to  flow freely through it are called as Conductors. Examples of conductors are metal, graphite etc.

Insulators:

Insulators are the substance which resists the flow of electricity. Examples of insulator are paper, glass etc.

Semi conductors :

Any substance which has the level of conductivity between the conductors and insulators are often known as semi conductors. One such example of a semiconductor is silicon.
