The formula for the force acting between two electrically charged bodies was first developed by Charles-Augustin de Coulomb and the formula he established for determining the value of force acting to nearby charged objects is known as Coulomb’s law.

Coulomb's law:--- if two charge is placed at a distance a then force on two charge is directly proportional to the product of two charge and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them
