Covalent bonds are made when atoms share their electrons.There are 2 types of covalent bonds: polar and non-polar.
1.Polar bonds: In these, electrons are shared unequally.
2.Non-polar bonds: In these, the pair of electrons which is shared lies in the middle of the atom.
