The attractive force which comes into existence due to the mutual sharing of electron between two atoms of similar electronegativity is called a covalent bond...It is found in three types....

1. Single bond - By the sharing of one pair of electron . Example - H2 & F2....

2. Double bond - By the sharing of two pair of electron. Example - O2.....

3. Triple bond - By the sharing of three pair of electron. Example - N2.....
