crop rotation is a process in which different crops are grown in the same field for fulfilling the nutrients requirement for another crop for example corn and oats and sometimes rice and pea plants as it helps in the leguminous (minerals) this is an very effective process as it is not only helping the other plants (mutual benefit) but it is also eco friendly. some factors that need to be kept in mind is selection of the correct crops to be planted and grown, nutrient requirements of both the plants, net profit per hectare hope it helps you!!
