= 1.Crystallization is method to purify solifs having some impurities in it.
2. For instance, salt after evaporation has some impurities which can be removed by this process.
3. If you take a mixture and heat it and allow it to cool slowly then crystals of solute can be separated by filter paper from solvent.
Hope it helps

hey user!!
there are many methods and processes to separate mixtures like we can use evaporation to separate sugar from its sugar solution, we use sublimation to separate ammonium chloride and salt.. chromatography to separate different colours in a dye.. etc.. and crystallisation is also one of the process of separating mixtures.
what is CRYSTALLISATION ?
- as I told u before that it's a process of separating mixtures. we use this process to purify solids.
- for example :- salt have many impurities with it. we can separate salt from sea water by the process of evaporation, but what about the impurities mixed with it?? we can remove these impurities by the process of crystallisation.
- crystallisation is the process in which we get a pure substance (in the form of crystals) from it's solution.
process of crystallisation :-
I m taking copper sulphate as the sample...
>> dissolve impure copper sulphate powder till it can be dissolved in water.
>> filter the solution by a filter paper.
>> make it a saturated solution by evaporating.. (note :- it Should be a saturated solution)
>> let it cool and undisturbed and cover the solution by filter paper.
>> it will take few days 2 or 3 then u observe copper sulphate crystals.
and these crystals will be the pure form of copper.
this is the process of crystallisation.
cheers!!!
